NestifAI Pty Ltd (ABN placeholder) ("NestifAI", "we", "us", or "our") operates the NestifAI platform at nestifai.com.au. We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our platform in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Name, email address, and phone number when you register.
- Property preferences and search history when you use the platform.
- Payment details processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
- Messages and enquiries submitted through listing contact forms.
We also collect information automatically, including device type, browser, IP address, and pages visited, via standard web server logs and analytics tools.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and improve the NestifAI platform and its AI features.
- To match you with relevant listings using our AI scoring engine.
- To process payments and send transactional communications.
- To send marketing emails where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To comply with our legal obligations.
4. AI features and your data
NestifAI uses advanced AI technology to generate match scores, suburb insights, and natural-language search results. Queries sent to our AI are not used to train external models. No personally identifiable information is included in AI prompts.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Service providers (hosting, payments, email delivery) under data processing agreements.
- Agents or landlords when you submit an enquiry about their listing.
- Authorities when required by law.
5a. Property enquiries
When you submit an enquiry about a listing, we collect only your name, email, an optional phone number, and your message. These details are sent to the listing agent so they can respond to your enquiry. We don't sell your data or use it for anything else. We record the date you submitted and the exact notice shown to you at the time, as a record of your consent.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years afterwards to comply with Australian financial record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
7. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at ntekale@nestifai.com to exercise these rights.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions and optional analytics cookies. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
